The family refer about him playing Rugby for Cardiff Boys and a place called Cross Keys which is near Caerphilly; died on 1963 October 16 possibly at home in Edwinstowe, NTT or at Kings Mill hospital, Sutton in Ashfield, NTT; cremated, ashes scattered at Mansfield Crematorium.); m Winifred Mabel BAKER born 1905 Feb 17 in the Staffordshire area, possibly Castle or Church Gresley (died 1966/7 Feb 10, buried Warsop church NTT).
