I am looking for my strange ancestors and have got a bit stuck. My great grandparents were Percival (Percy) Harold Strange (born 24/03/1896 Burton upon trent, Staffordshire) and Winifred May Appleby (born 02/07/1893 Uttoxeter, staffordshire). I have tried looking on the census but couldn't find Percy's parents, I have more on the Appleby side. The closest I got was:
Edward Harry Strange (born 1867 Amprey crucis, Gloucestershire) Brewers labourer. He may be percy's father as my grandma said her granddad name was Harold too and as their is a record of an Edward Harry Strange marrying in 1890 in Burton. But I have no other information. If anyone can help me.
